To create an order, a customer must supply their Name, address, city, State, zip code, phone number and email by creating an account. In case of firearms, the customer is required to either pick up in our Olathe store using Simmons FFL or select an FFL near them to have the firearm shipped to in the case of a remote sale. The FFL will be required to call your information in to the ATF data base using ATF for 4473 as required by law. Please see the return policy below for firearms shipped to an FFL where the customer fails to pass the 4473 process.
Unless the customer chooses to expedite standard UPS ground shipping will apply. In most cases, this will mean between 48 and 72 hours from product ship date.
All Firearms must be shipped to the customers choice of FFL or picked up at Simmons location in Olathe KS. Non firearm items will be shipped directly to the customer address unless Simmons is instructed otherwise.
Repairs will be shipped as soon as possible with most rib and blue jobs taking 3-4 weeks to ship from receipt.
Simmons will arrange for you to ship your firearm to us. Please see shipping container & prepaid label product page to order hard container, box, and prepaid shipping label. YOUR GUN CAN BE SHIPPED DIRECTLY TO US AND DOES NOT HAVE TO GO THROUGH AN FFL AS LONG AS OWNERSHIP IS NOT CHANGING. We include this statement because there is confusion around when an FFL must be used. Call us at 913-782-3131 with any questions.
Firearms that are returned to us because the customer cannot pass the 4473 ATF background check will be subject to a $100.00 restock fee. Firearms that are returned within 10 days will be subject to a $50.00 restock fee. Defective firearms may be returned within 30 days from purchase for a full refund.
